1. About Market8 LTD
Market8 LTD ("Market8", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales, providing AI-powered business automation services to UK small and medium-sized businesses.

2. Services
Market8 provides the following services (collectively, "the Services"):
- AI chatbot setup and configuration
- Business workflow automation
- WhatsApp Business automation
- Invoice and payment automation
- Review and reputation automation
- Admin automation bundles
- Starter pack (three automations)
- Monthly support and monitoring retainers
- Free business automation audit calls
The specific scope of services to be delivered will be agreed in writing (including by email) before work commences. Any scope changes must be agreed in writing by both parties.
3. Free audit
Our free 20-minute audit call is provided without obligation. Participation does not obligate you to purchase any services. Market8 reserves the right to decline an audit request at our discretion, for example if the enquiry falls outside our service scope.
4. Engagement and payment
4.1 Pricing
All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Market8 is not currently VAT registered. We will notify you if our VAT status changes and this affects your invoices.
4.2 Setup fees
Setup fees are invoiced on completion of your automation setup and go-live. No advance payment is required unless expressly agreed. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
4.3 Monthly retainer
Monthly retainer payments are invoiced at the start of each calendar month and cover ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and support. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
4.4 Late payment
If payment is not received by the due date, Market8 reserves the right to:
- Charge statutory late payment interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 at 8% over the Bank of England base rate
- Suspend active automations and retainer services until outstanding balances are settled
4.5 Payment methods
We accept payment via bank transfer, Stripe (credit/debit card), and GoCardless (direct debit). Payment details are provided on your invoice.
5. Delivery
We aim to deliver completed setups within 48 hours of written confirmation of your go-ahead and receipt of all necessary access credentials. Delivery timelines may vary depending on setup complexity and third-party platform availability.
Market8 is not liable for delays caused by third-party services or by incomplete or late information from the client.
6. Client responsibilities
By engaging Market8, you confirm that:
- You have the right and authority to grant Market8 access to any tools and accounts necessary for delivery
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You will not use Market8's automations for any unlawful purpose, including sending unsolicited marketing communications in breach of PECR or GDPR
- You will ensure personal data processed through automations we build is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and your own privacy obligations
7. Intellectual property
Upon receipt of full payment for a setup project, you own the specific automation workflows, chatbot scripts, and configurations built for your business.
Market8 retains ownership of all underlying methodologies, frameworks, and templates used to build your automations. We may reuse these frameworks for other clients without disclosure.
Market8 retains the right to reference your business type (not necessarily by name) as an example of our work in marketing materials, unless you request otherwise in writing.
8. Cancellation and termination
8.1 Cancelling a retainer
You may cancel your monthly retainer at any time by giving 30 days' written notice to hello@market8.co.uk. No refunds will be issued for any portion of a monthly retainer already paid.
8.2 Cancelling a setup before delivery
If you cancel after giving written go-ahead but before delivery, Market8 reserves the right to charge for work already completed on a pro-rata basis at our standard rate of £75/hr.
8.3 Termination by Market8
Market8 may terminate our engagement immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay within 28 days of the due date, or use our services unlawfully.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Market8's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim
- Market8 is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or loss of business opportunities
- Market8 is not liable for failures caused by third-party platforms (Make.com, n8n, Zapier, WhatsApp Business, Stripe, or any other tool used)
- Market8 does not guarantee specific business results from our automations
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Data protection
Each party shall comply with all applicable data protection legislation including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Where Market8 processes personal data on your behalf, we act as Data Processor and you act as Data Controller. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
11. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any information disclosed by the other that is reasonably understood to be confidential, including access credentials, business processes, and pricing. This does not apply to information that is publicly available or required to be disclosed by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for 30 days.
13. Changes to these terms
Market8 may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, existing clients will be notified by email.
